One who embarks on this cleanse only consumes the lemonade mix, and does not consume solid food, processed food etc., or anything aside the drink. All of his or her nutrients during the cycle are obtained through the fresh organic lemon juice, cayenne pepper and Grade B maple syrup. People are strongly encouraged to drink at least six glasses of lemonade per day. It is also recommended that people take a laxative at night to avoid constipation.
